Forward Engagement ® is a concept designed to describe a process of thinking systematically about complex, interactive, and longer-range issues in a way that is applicable to public policy.

Through a graduate course at the George Washington University, expert seminars in Washington, DC, and national outreach through the World Affairs Councils of America, the project seeks to explore ways that government might engage the future sooner, rather than later.
